    The Senior Marketing Coordinator, MICE ensures the standards set by AMResorts are incorporated in the Meetings & Incentives Segment and maintain our leadership position in the market.

    Position Description

    • Manage all Cvent event marketing, including creation of event qualification and registration websites
    • Support a sales team of six by managing all marketing for various of events throughout the year
    • Manage event attendee rooming lists and DMC flight manifests for at least three large events per year
    • Communicate with all event vendors and sponsors to coordinate event needs
    • Fulfill shipments of collateral and promotional items needed per event in a timely fashion
    • Execute comprehensive print and digital strategy for key meeting planner audience
    • Coordinate website maintenance, copywriting and updates on AMRMeetings.com
    • Copywrite brand/resort promotions, email blasts, sales event invitations, online and print advertising and other marketing efforts
    • Analyze competition and introduce new and trend-setting promotions, loyalty programs and campaigns
    • Communicate best practices and SOP’s to the Group Sales Managers at all resorts
    • Track, organize and present online and print media coverage relating to Segment
    • Create and maintain resort-specific PowerPoint presentations for owner board meetings and marketing plans
    • Report and track ROI for Segment’s promotions
    • Manage relationships and marketing initiatives with key partners and vendors in MICE market
    • Research and implement new opportunities to increase awareness, maximize engagement and drive sales via promotions, events, tradeshows and Destination Events
    • Research and attend relevant MICE industry events and tradeshows
    • Launch resort-specific promotions to support just-in time requests
    • Monitor and grow Segment’s social media efforts

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-year degree
    • 1-3 years marketing experience, with travel industry background preferred
    • Must possess strong strategic perspective, analytical skills and forward thinking
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
    • Strong copywriting, proof-reading and Excel skills needed
    • Must be very organized, detail-oriented and great at multi-tasking
    • Spanish preferred, but not required
    • Some International and domestic travel required
