Business Development Manager (BDM), is responsible for: Implementing sales and distribution strategies to meet financial goals of the region. Represent Funjet Vacations, United Vacations, SouthWest Vacations, and Blue Sky Tours in key origin markets. Maintaining and/or developing business from existing and new opportunity agency accounts. Ensure strong, committed agency relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships to increase product sales and profitability. Driving share shift from the competition and guiding top line travel agency growth, through the use of key marketing and sales tools. Support a defined territory while assisting in other markets when/as needed. Align with the Group department to follow up on and assist in closing agency leads. Create and deliver ongoing agency education and training. Increase agent profitability based on directional selling in line with TMTC strategy. Develop strategic alliances with travel agents and agencies. Be responsive to agent needs, issue resolution and good follow up. Achieve sales targets by managing territory effectively and growing the accounts with the biggest opportunities. Use reporting tools to understand profitability, trends and goal tracking. Increase and promote distribution through VAX booking platform in line with established goals. Maintain engagement plans for all top tier accounts.
