  • Overview

    1. Leads the Distribution Shared Services unit in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis
    2. Participates in the development, management, and maintenance of the next generation reporting tools.
    3. Provides ad-hoc analysis as needed

    Responsibilities

    1. Lead team responsible for working with other leaders of Shared Services to coordinate sourcing, aggregation and analysis of business unit data to provide strategic vision
    2. Cultivate and develop strong relationships with executive leaders of various shared departments
    3. Lead effort to integrate recently merged companies into one shared service unit
    4. Collaborate to be finance support to operational teams in financial and ad hoc analysis
    5. Lead Shared Services annual budget and planning process
    6. Create or enhance standard reports and/or KPI dashboards
    7. Lead weekly trend analysis and make recommendation for corrective action
    8. Work with Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate reporting throughout the company
    9. Produce weekly / monthly / ad hoc reports as requested by management
    10.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor Degree Required

    MBA Preferred

     

    Experience:

    Travel industry experience an asset.

    High proficiency in MS Office, SAP and Hyperion

     

    Language:

     

    • English

    • Strong oral, written and verbal skills; professional manner to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
    • Should be well organized and detailed oriented
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritizes work efficiently
    • Must be resourceful to investigate, problem solve, trouble shoot and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Strong ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, dates, numbers and codes
