    Apple Leisure Group (ALG) is a vertically integrated travel and hospitality private equity portfolio company of KKR and KSL, an industry leader in Mexico and the Caribbean travel.
     
    As a Digital Compliance Coordinator, you will be working with teams across the enterprise to implement WCAG standards in order to ensure all customers and travel agents can access and use our web sites as well as mobile, tablet and apps.  You will partner with a third-party vendor to evaluate and provide accessible solutions for web based and mobile products, to educate and promote the practice of building products with accessibility in mind, as well as to mentor others in methods and techniques for addressing accessibility barriers. You will be the point of contact for executing the plan for site audits, retrofitting existing content and creating new content while keeping the WCAG standards top of mind.
     
    The Digital Compliance Coordinator will also be responsible for analyzing and implementing key standards (e.g. PCI, GDPR, ADA digital accessibility, etc.) across the enterprise to ensure the teams are aware of and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and standards that impact data security and/or privacy.
    The Coordinator will stay abreast of compliance guidelines and regulations in order to determine the impact to ALG’s products, policies and procedures as well as to identify opportunities for improvement.

     

    Responsibilities

    About the role
     
    As Digital Compliance Coordinator, you will work across the organization to help drive the adherence and implementation of key compliance guidelines. 
     
    Responsibilities:
    •  Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for WCAG, PCI and GDPR compliance guidelines and stay informed of new guidelines as they evolve.
    • Lead the WCAG site audits and communicate results to the impacted teams as well as partner with stakeholders to prioritize and plan for implementing the recommended WCAG best practices.
    • Drive implementation of PCI compliance features across the enterprise and communicate with the key stakeholders including Security, Accounting, Finance, Product Management and Development about progress against the roadmap.
    • Create a plan for addressing GDPR requirements across the enterprise by partnering with key stakeholders including Security, Marketing, Product Management, and Development.
    • Analyze and identify areas of opportunity to drive compliance guidelines across the enterprise.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of experience working with WCAG guidelines is strongly preferred; PCI and GDPR experience is preferred although not required.
    • Strong project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are required.
    • Solid interpersonal and communication skills (externally and internally with various levels).
    • Fast learner, with enthusiasm and ability for acquiring knowledge to become a subject matter expert on compliance guidelines and initiatives.
    • Ability to mentor others in methods and techniques for addressing accessibility barriers on web applications and mobile devices and in a variety of forums is strongly preferred..
    • Experience with SAFe development practices is preferred although not required.
    • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience working with an e-commerce company or within a digital marketing agency is required.
